2011 SCHEDULE
Friday February 18th - Rider Registration Deadline/Meet & Greet
- 7pm – 9m at “The Tap” 4245 Rochdale Boulevard
- Registration/Donation deadline for all riders to turn in donations collected and have the funds go towards the prizes allotted.
- Each rider participating in KB4C must sign a waiver if you didn’t register online
- Each rider must sign a video and photo release
- All Riders will be given their KB4C swag bag of goodies and schedule of events/ maps for the wind conditions.
- 10pm – 11:30pm – Sacrifice a board to the wind gods at event site
Saturday February 19th - Event Day
- 9a.m – 11a.m. Kids/Spectators Registration (sign up for sleigh rides & opportunity to fly a Kite)
- 10a.m. – 12pm Kids/Spectators Sleigh Rides behind Kiters & Trainer Fly Time
- 12pm – 1pm Celebrity Kite – Larry Hiles, CEO Mayor Pat Fiacco vs. Regina Chief of Police Troy Hagen in a “Battle of the Best”
- 12pm – 4pm Sleigh Rides (Horse Drawn sleigh rides around the KB4C site from Heated tent to Heated Tent)
- 1pm – 5pm Degleman KB4C Kicks off with an Endurance Race
- 2pm – 4pm Speed Race, High Jump / Long Jump Events
To end the day’s festivities at 8pm all ages will reconvene at The Exchange Nightclub, 2431 – 8th Ave. Where live entertainment will be provided along with video clips from the day’s activities. Silent auction items will be available to bid on and prizes awarded from each category. A rough calculation of money raised will be announced the night of the event.
Sunday February 20th – RETRO Kite
Sunday is scheduled as a RETRO Kite Day….break out your oldest gear.
